We're very allergy aware! If a scout has an allergy, please notify a member of our team when they arrive on site. While we do have a nut free prep station on our trucks, please be aware that we store products that contain common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, soy, eggs and dairy in our facility. This experience is designed to teach scouts how to present a business idea and what it takes to get their idea to market. Troop/pack leaders can decide if this is sufficient to earn one of the entrepreneur related badges, or if this is a precursor to the scouts presenting an idea to their troop. However, a special Scream Truck patch will be given to each scout!
One or more of our management team members, and at least one of our co-founders, will be presenting to the scouts.
Yes! Each scout will be given the opportunity to get on a Scream Truck and make their own ice cream sundae including their choice of vanilla, chocolate, or twist ice cream, one topping, one drizzle, and whipped cream. Mmmmmmmm.
Scream Team members will show the scouts how Scream Truck got started and what it has taken to make the business successful. Details will include the development of the Scream Truck brand, software platform, and customer service edict. The team will also learn the importance of systems and processes as it relates to day to day operations of the business.
Siblings are not permitted. Only registered Girl/Boy scouts in the specified units are invited to attend.
Due to limited parking and limited space in our hub and inside our trucks, scouts should be accompanied by troop leaders only. The number of chaperones should be determined by the ratio of leaders to scouts as set forth in the Girl/Boy Scouts guidelines for offsite events.
Yes! Every scout must be accompanied by a troop/pack leader or multiple leaders depending on the number of scouts and the guidelines set forth by the Girl/Boy Scouts for offsite events.
No. Each designated date/time will be dedicated to scouts within a specific scout level, grade or age group. This ensures everyones safety and creates a comfortable environment for all scouts.
