We're looking for entrepreneurial minded people to manage and operate a Scream Truck! We provide the infrastructure and the truck, you become a budding entrepreneur (a "Scream Truck Pro"), managing the daily operations of a state-of-the art, tech forward food truck. If you one day dream of starting your own business, but aren’t quite ready yet, this role is for you! You’ll earn a minimum of $60,000/year, with the potential for more!

A "Scream Truck Pro" is the customer facing leader of the brand and must ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met. We’re excited to hear from you and hope you’ll consider joining our growing team!

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000/year (depending on experience)

Guaranteed Tips: $10,000/year

End of year revenue bonus: 10% of all revenue over $330,000 over a 12-month period

Vacation Time: 10 days, accrued over the course of the year. Requests for vacation time must be submitted at least 1 month in advance and approved by management. Vacation time does not roll over year to year as we encourage our full time employees to take 10 full days of vacation each year to rest and recharge. This is one way we hope to foster a strong culture of well-being.

Sick Time: Up to 5 sick days per year. Absences due to illness must be reported by 9am on an operating day.

Responsibilities:

  • Unless otherwise directed or approved by the Company, Scream Truck Pro will operate a dedicated Scream Truck vehicle a minimum of five (5) days per week (typically, but not limited to Wednesday-Sunday) year-round
  • Service Scream Truck customers via assigned, reserved routes, private events, “pop-up” events, corporate events, and public events within the assigned territory.
  • All stocking, cleaning, and prepping for each day’s operations and sales. You will receive assistance with this from management.
  • Mandatory Electrofreeze ice cream machine cleaning every 7 days. You will receive assistance with this from management.
  • Supporting the training and managing of “co-ops” that will help the Scream Truck Pro with all duties set forth in this Scope of Work.
  • Managing the truck’s operating schedule, your own schedule, and the full or part-time co-op(s) schedules (with support from management).
  • Regular meetings with senior management to discuss truck performance, current co-op staff performance and staffing needs or changes. Participate in a monthly financial reviews of the truck.
  • Reporting repairs and maintenance needs and issues to management immediately and support oversight of all truck and equipment repairs & maintenance (including, but not limited to: oil changes, tire maintenance, engine and battery checks, generator maintenance and repairs, windshield/glass repairs, cosmetic repairs, Electrofreeze equipment repairs and maintenance, refrigeration repairs and maintenance, general kitchen repairs and maintenance, and all tech and other equipment essential to the successful operation of the truck).
  • Assist management with keeping the inventory room tidy and organized and with truck movement in and out of the garage.
  • Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who helps source new business within the territory (sharing ideas and coming with information to management regarding local companies to partner with, festivals/fairs to join, etc). You’ll receive on the job experience working with entrepreneurs!
  • Expectation to work some holidays (July 4th, New Year's Eve, etc). We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
