CORE Responsibilities

1. Navigation—Ops safely and efficiently navigating the truck to each stop in accordance to local driving laws, ST policies, and approved customer requests.

2. Item Preparation—Ops prepare menu items. The default operator prep area is the “Nut Side" of the truck (closest to Cab). Ops must take special care to prevent cross contamination (to the allergen-free prep area) and are expected to bring awareness of allergen items to the customer upon delivery (when allergy is specified).

3. Problem Solving—Ops are expected to be proactive in assessing any issues hindering proper delivery/or item prep and implementing a solution. If the situation is beyond Ops area of knowledge, they are expected to obtain answers by contacting the correct chain of command.

4. Delivery—Ops are expect to provide delivery assistance to Co-Ops

5. Emergencies/Escalation—Onboard the truck, Ops manage/report any real-time issues that may impair the workday directly to the Hub Manager for further assistance/direction.

6. Deliver regular feedback

  • Safety/Navigation issues (Truck/Hub)
  • Equipment issues/failure
  • Customer Issues
  • Positive Scream Team morale & customer experiences

Job Requirements

  • Pristine driving record and ability to safely drive a very large vehicle (think UPS truck, training will be provided)
  • Ability to efficiently navigate local neighborhoods using a map and GPS
  • Exceptional people and communication skills
  • Upbeat, friendly and outgoing personality, eager to serve customers happily
  • Strong work ethic with a "do whatever it takes” attitude
  • A background in food service is preferred
  • Skilled in public speaking is preferred
  • Truck driving experience is a plus

COMMITTMENT

  • Part time or Full time (depending on availability)
  • Shifts run 2:00PM - 9:30PM (weekdays) and 1:00PM - 9:30PM (weekends) - depends on seasonality
  • Days of the week vary depending on seasonality

Pay: $21 per hour
